My favorite interior design trend right now are geodes, whether as book ends or decorative objects. I think I need to get some for my house...

Trad Home
I love when I randomly visit a online mag and discover a new issue is published. I went to Lonny's site and saw the awesome Trad Home. It has some great inspiration, here are some of my favorite pieces.

Oudry
I love these paintings by French artist Jean-Baptiste Oudry.
This would be amazing in a den/office with walnut paneling.
globes
This is one of the more fabulous displays of collections I've seen.
Also this idea for a headboard is gorgeous. A way of bringing nature to urban spaces.

pastels
With spring on the horizon, I want to paint all of my walls pastel.
Love the combination of soft walls and light floors.

Chateau Neuville
How gorgeous is this Chateau? I was lucky enough to visit once when I was in Paris, and can't wait to go back someday.

life sized photos
I came across a website called Surface View on a blog and was amazed at the scale they were offering images (up to six feet in some cases). They have quite an extensive classical art collection, but I love all of their Slim Aarons photos. Plus you can customize the size of the print to fit whichever space you need art for, and can choose from a mural or a print (on canvas or as a poster) or make it into window blinds. I would probably pick one of the following, then I could always pretend to be on vacation...

Elle Decor Showhouse
I visited the Elle Decor Showhouse the past weekend, and here are some highlights:
Of course I loved the library, but the combination of vintage books with objets d'arte was visually arresting.
Plus the library had this hidden bar. tres chic.
I love these art pieces, quirky, a little creepy, but fantastic, especially with the addition of the lights.
This picture is awesome.

glorious rainy Sunday
The best kind of rain, of course, is a cozy rain. This is the kind the anonymous medieval poet makes me remember, the rain that falls on a day when you'd just as soon stay in bed a little longer, write letters or read a good book by the fire, take early tea with hot scones and jam and look out the streaked window with complacency. - Susan Allen Toth

Glaser Home
I'm usually not a fan of so much wood used in interiors, but in combination with lots of windows the look is light and airy.
I think these scans are from Vanity Fair, but if anyone knows for sure...

pink bedrooms
I love these girly pink bedrooms. The bed linens in the last image are especially fantastic. All images from Domino magazine.
